The Rule: Forged for Battle, Anchored in Faith
The Rule is our discipline; the cadence of faithful men who live with resolve, fight with purpose, and endure with strength. It bows to neither comfort nor culture, but calls men to arms - in spirit and in body.
“Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.”
Daily Discipline
-

Pray
Begin and end each day reporting for duty to Christ your Commander. Prayer is your first and final act of obedience.
-

Read Scripture
Train your mind in the Word as a soldier trains with his weapon. Scripture is your blade - keep it sharp, keep it ready.
-

Live by Courage and Humility
Strength under command. Service without retreat. Humility in victory, courage in battle. Our battle begins before dawn and ends only when we see His face.
Rule of Life
-
Once each week, pray the Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel - not as routine, but as warfare. Invoke the captain of heaven’s host to fortify your will and guard your flank against temptation.
“Endure hardship as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 2:3
Brothers who do not pray together fall alone. Strengthen your post. -
On these days, we stand inspection before heaven. We renew our vows, honor our commanders, and lift the banner Deus Virum Fecit high for the world to see.
Moses the Prophet (Sept 4)
St. Moses the Black (Aug 28)
St. Michael the Archangel (Sept 29)
Major Feasts of Jesus Christ (Easter, Christmas, Ascension, etc.)
“Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord.” Psalm 31:24
-
Fidelity - to Christ our King and His Church - unwavering, even unto persecution
Witness - to live as men of God, visible in faith, fearless in confession, and steadfast under pressure.
Brotherhood - to strengthen, defend, and uphold one another as brothers in arms and heirs of grace.
These are not promises; they are battle oaths. Once spoken, they bind a man for life.
-
We honor the visible signs of manhood given in Scripture and tradition - including the wearing of the beard, the bearing of the Cross upon one’s person, and the mark of faith carried in sacred ink.
The Charge
We are soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and guardians and the battle never ends. When the uniform comes off, the war for the soul rages on.
Alongside weapons of steel, we bear weapons of the Spirit - truth, prayer, and discipline. We conquer through domination refined by devotion, and through violence restrained by virtue.
And when the world demands that men hide their strength, we stand taller. When it mocks conviction, we speak louder. When it calls manhood a sin, we answer: God made man - and we will live as such.
“You armed me with strength for battle; You made my adversaries bow beneath me.”
