Are You Ready to Take the Oath?
The path is clear. The call is before you. Your next act is one of obedience.
Make Your Commitment
Every man’s journey begins with a pledge.
Your yearly tithe marks your commitment to fidelity, witness, and brotherhood within the Military Order of Moses
a - disciplined act of faith that joins you to the ranks of Catholic men living the Rule.
Your tithe marks the vow of fidelity, witness, and brotherhood. It grants full access to the Order’s archives, resources, private communications, and virtual events for initiated brothers. This is a yearly commitment; both a spiritual and practical act of discipline, sacrifice, and faith in action. If financial hardship stands in the way of joining the Brotherhood, reach out to us. The Order will not turn away a sincere man seeking to stand among its ranks.
A Lifelong Bond
Whether you still wear the uniform or have hung it up, the call remains.
Once a brother, always a brother.
We are bound not by comfort, but by covenant.
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Yes. Every brother of the Order bears visible marks of his commitment - the beard, the cross, and a religious tattoo. These are not ornaments of pride but signs of obedience, discipline, and witness to God’s design for manhood. They serve as a banner of devotion and a defiance against the softening of men.
-
The Military Order of Moses is a Catholic lay fraternity founded by and for Catholic servicemen and veterans. Lay fraternities are established informally and may take decades before receiving formal recognition. As a new Order, we stand in full fidelity to the Magisterium and the Holy Father, with the hope that in due time, through steadfast witness and discipline, the Order will receive formal recognition within the Church.

Your tithe fuels the mission of the Order — to restore honor, virtue, and faith among men. Though we are Catholic men, our fight is for ALL men. Every dollar helps spread the message that masculinity is not toxic — it’s sacred.
The Order stands in the gap where culture has failed, building resources that call men back to discipline, fidelity, and brotherhood. Your contribution strengthens that witness and ensures that every man, in or out of uniform, knows he was made for more.

Membership in the Order does not depend on having a shaving waiver. The beard is a sign of devotion and masculine witness, not a rule of salvation. However, Brothers are expected to pursue a shaving waiver as an act of faith and discipline; if the request is denied, they remain fully recognized members of the Brotherhood. Just as a man unable to kneel at Mass remains fully Catholic, so too does a brother who cannot wear the beard remain honored in the Order.
Active-duty servicemen who wish to wear the beard in uniform may request a religious accommodation — commonly called a shaving waiver — after joining. The Order provides official documentation and guidance to assist brothers in this process, though final approval rests solely with the serviceman’s command and chaplain corps.
